This position will report through our Rockville, NY office.  May be remote; hours are 8am – 5pm Eastern Time

Purpose:

The Junior Partnership Manager reports directly to the AVP, Lending Partnerships, and is dedicated to working closely with program managers on their current  partnerships,  and helping partners achieve their goals.  Junior Program Managers are responsible for being proactive alongside the main Program Managers of a designated Strategic Partner Program in all aspects of its continued management, which includes but is not limited to relationship management, ongoing marketing of product offerings, credit, helping compliance, risk, operations, finance/settlement, accounting, and technology. The Junior Program Manager interacts with and is supported by each respective department within the Bank that are required for and the monitoring of the Strategic Partner Programs. Program Managers are the bank’s primary point of contact for bank partners and Junior Program Managers are tasked with helping them and partners succeed.

Tasks:

  • Provides a variety of routine management support to partnerships, such as following up on past due items, monitoring and tracking pending opportunities/requests, organize calls, create issue tickets
  • Assist the team with recordkeeping, including generating approval forms, saving final versions of reviewed items
  • Monitor legal contract’s expiration date
  • Be a liaison between all teams and partners, and assist Program Managers with the communication with Partners, such as relaying questions and answers between stakeholders and the partners
  • Work closely with Program Managers
  • Compile memo for escalation to VPs and Executive Management
  • Maintain tactical responsibility for tracking project requirements
  • Participate and support Program Managers in special projects as required
  • Interface with other Bank departments, particularly Compliance, Risk and IT and occasionally, partners
  • Interact via teleconference on a regular basis with respective Bank stakeholders to review progress related to any partner issues
  • Participate in periodic or annual site visits alongside the Program Managers to review the Strategic Partner’s adherence to the Program Agreement
  • Initiate drafting the site visit memo for Program Managers, focusing on strategy and credit performance
  • Work with the Program Manager to obtain and review monthly reporting metrics
  • Support Program Managers and Bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits
  • Assist with portfolio performance monitoring of Partners’ originations

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must understand principles and processes for providing customer services
  • Must have active listening skills
  • Skill in coordinating with others
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing

Required Education / Experience / License:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalency or 1+ years in operations, strategy, business development, relationship management, finance, accounting or credit

Preferred Education /Experience / License:

  • Moderate Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Understanding of finance and financial systems
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves
  • Openness to learning about the industry
  • Excellent written/verbal communication with experience developing summaries for senior and executive managers
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, difficult personalities, and changing priorities
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills with ability to complete
    assignments within designated time frames

Minimum Essential Requirements:

  • Sit or stand at a computer for long periods of time and look at a computer screen for several hours a day.
  • Work at an assigned FinWise office location
  • Communicate with others in person, on the phone, virtual meeting and email
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Travel overnight as required
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Driving during the workday
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
